Principal
Rakesh has been active in construction, geotechnical and environmental fields since 2002. Soil and water (surface and groundwater) have always been an integral part of his education and career. Over the years he has undertaken hundreds of environmental site assessments across the Greater Toronto Area. These have included projects ranging from simple condo units to multi-rise buildings and mixed-use plazas to complex industrial Brownfield re-development sites where soil and groundwater remediation was required. Rakesh is registered as a Qualified Person (QP) with the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks since 2012. He has been the QP on several brownfield re-development projects in the Greater Toronto Area and filing of Record of Site Conditions (Ontario Regulation 1530/04).
Rakesh manages all aspects of each project – proposals, pricing, planning, execution, reporting, management and most importantly ensuring that trained personnel get the work done in a competent manner. This ensures that the Client benefits from the right aptitude and personal attention from all personnel at CEGP Consultants Ltd.
Key environmental projects that Rakesh manages include Brownfields, medium to large scale redevelopment sites in Greater Toronto Area, Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) and Certificate of Property Use (CPU) compliance monitoring in GTA.
Rakesh is knowledgeable, competent and has experience in Ontario Regulation 406/19, Excess Soil Management. Key works include QP as Project Leader and Contractor to prepare reports such as Assessment of Past Uses, Sampling and Analysis Plans, Soil Characterization Reports, Soil Management Plans, and monthly Excavation Soil Reports. Additionally, Rakesh is connected with vendors who provide real time soil tracking software (SoilFLO, PATH, GetPhil).
Rakesh also provides support as an independent consultant for several environmental consultants with assistance in environmental and remediation projects, and property condition assessments.
Rakesh has extensive experience in construction projects with materials inspection and testing, and also conducts Property Condition Assessments. He is an active participant in volunteering at Centennial College as a presenter in environmental courses and is a part time facilitator with Humber College.

Principal
With over 25 years of experience, Gus is a seasoned Environmental Consultant. His expertise ranges from consulting services to the Federal Department of Environment, the Ontario Ministry of Environment, multiple municipal governments to various private and institutional clientele. He has conducted hundreds of Environmental Site Assessments, numerous remedial works, and Excess Soil (O.Reg. 406) projects, as well as assessments of Indoor Air Quality with an emphasis on mould contamination and abatement. He is a Certified Environmental Professional with Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board. He is a strong believer in Client relationship building and believes that the critical part of being a consultants is to listen carefully to Clients in order to fully understanding and address their requirements for any given project.
